Black Side

(Hardcover)

***Japanese Import***

BACK IN STOCK!

In addition to the art boards and storyboards drawn in the early stages of production, this book comprehensively includes the background drawings of "Takaracho", which is the setting of the story. The storyboard is a full-color illustration by art director Shinji Kimura, who drew the flow of the story with about 100 illustrations. The settings are drawn in dense pencil and convey the entire design of Takaracho, including the shopping street of "Takaracho", the clock tower, Kuro and Shiro's house, and the children's castle.

High-quality printing strictly reproduces even the shade of the pencil. The origin of this meticulously crafted and overwhelming visual world is revealed here. At the end of the book, a conversation between art director Shinji Kimura and director Michael Arias is included.
