The 7th installment of the series conveys the charm of background art in anime and games. Introducing four works: Love Plus, Zack and Ombra, Highschool of the Dead, and Yumeiro Patissiere.

Author Yoji Nakaza established the limited company Kusanagi in 1990 in a corner of an animation production market in collaboration with three juniors (Kihara, Sue, Ogura) after training at several companies specializing in backgrounds. Although he undertook art background mainly for OVA animation, he actively works in the game industry and receives orders for major CG stage designs from Square Enix, Sega, and Konami.

In 2006, he began publishing the background art book 'Kusanagi' reaching 7 volumes by 2009.
